Lucky Sky Defenders
A downloadable game
This was a game created for the GMTK Game Jam 2022. Based on the theme of "Roll of the Dice", this is a shooter where you have to defend against enemies invading Earth. Each enemy taken out is a point gained. Every 5th enemy defeated gives you a random powerup, and you have to utilize that to your advantage. Obtain the highest score you can before the aliens get to Earth!

Install instructions
In order to play, simply download the .zip file and extract its contents. You should have a folder called sky_defenders after extracting.
Next, proceed to go to your command line or terminal. Navigate into the sky_defenders folder. It should be noted that you should have Rust downloaded to your computer.
Input 'cargo run --release' (no quotes) into your command line to build and run the game.
This is currently the only way to play the game, as the web build is currently non-functional.
